Admission of Fresh Entrants: |
Admission of Candidates to Bachelor Degree Course of the V.V. shall be made through
the entrance test being conducted by Professional Examination Board, Bhopal, Madhya
Pradesh (VYAPAM, Bhopal). Candidates selected by ICAR entry test shall be admitted
over and above the prescribed sears from time to time.
Admission to NRI shall be done subject to their for fulfilment of prescribed minimum
admission requirement and other condition laid down by the Govt. Of M. P. Department
of agriculture and V.V. From time to time. |
The admission in the course shall consist of the following steps: |
- Payment of fees as prescribed by the V.V.
- Registration of courses.
- Clearance of medical test.
- NO registration in absentia shall be permitted.
- The Candidate selected/Nominated for admission to a degree programme of the V.V.
shall become enrolled students of V.V. only on completion of all the formalities
prescribed by V.V. from time to time.
- An identity card bearing ID number shall be issued to each enrolled student, which
should be carried by him/her at all times and be shown whenever required. The ID
card should be renewed every year. In case of loss, a duplicate ID card will issued
by the respective Dean of the College on payment of INR 50 only after verification
of identity of the student.

Medium of Instruction: |
The medium of instruction in all College of Agriculture and Horticulture will be
English but the teacher may explain the subject matter to the students in Hindi
also. |

Admission of Fresh Entrants: |
Admission of candidates to master and Ph.D. programmes shall be made on merit basis.
However. Preference will be given to the students of this V.V. the requirement of
minimum OGPA/percentage of marks for admission to master and Ph. D. Degree programmes
will be notified by the V.V.
Admission of nominees of Govt. Of Madhya Pradesh/ ICAR/Govt. Of India NRI and V.V.
shall be considered by providing additional seats subject to fulfilment of minimum
admission requirements. |
Admission of In-service candidates to M.Sc./Ph.D. degree programme of V.V. shall
be made with the following guidelines:- |
- One Candidate from each department will be allowed for PG programme in every academic session.
- Candidates must have served for a minimum period of five years in the V.V. and must
fulfil Minimum requirements as prescribed for regular students.
- Selected candidates shall have to execute a bond to serve the V.V. for five years,
after completion of their studies.
- A Minimum of one calendar year must elapse after completing the course before the
research thesis is submitted.
- Maximum permissible period for in-service candidates to complete master and Ph.D.
programme will be 8 and 12 semesters, respectively.
- There should be a gap of at least five years between Bachelor & Master degree
programme for in-service candidates.
- In-service candidates shall be given weight age of one point for each year of service
rendered to the V.V., subject to the maximum of 10 points.

Medium of Instruction: |
Medium of instruction for all Master and Ph.D. degree programmes shall be English.
The thesis work to be submitted for practical fulfilment of the degree programme
shall have to be written in English only and shall have to follow the thesis manual
issued by the Director Instruction. |
